I was born in Hertfordshire, England. I studied Graphic Design then travelled on and off for 5 years.

I worked for a top name advertising agency, and another large creative design company, both in London, before setting up business as a freelance graphic designer in 1982.

Being a graphic designer before computers was great! But then along came the Apple Mac which changed the way we work. Before I died of boredom, since 2000 I have been concentrating on my personal art. I studied at the University of Hertfordshire, BA (Hons) Fine Art (2:1) 2005, then at Dartington College of Art, Devon, Masters Degree Arts & Ecology, (merit) 2008.

I now have my own art practice – drawing, print making but primarily painting. I also teach adults in weekly self-devised classes, in full day workshops and mentor artists.

I live and work in Devon, England.
