Oil and ferrous powders on organic film, canvas and paper – landscape and seascape as movement, colour and textures…

This year Jane was part of the Mentoring Programme at Newlyn School of Art, a year of challenge and learning, angst and pleasure with a wonderful peer group and first class tutors. Jane was able to re-visit her obsession with working on transparent material, exploring the possibilities of bringing the plastic issue in to art. In 2001 her transparent ground had to be plastic, so she stopped – in 2019 a new material has been manufactured, a transparent film made entirely of plant material and fully bio-degradable; she now has involvement with the sole company in the UK that produces this organic sheet film. Jane’s research and art seeks to tell the story of the world’s plastic pollution alongside producing something beautiful for her audience.

Jane is contacting appropriate researchers and organisations with whom to collaborate.

All work is for sale, unless marked sold. I am happy to accept payment in installments.
