Since 2000 I have been working on discovering what interests me. That may sound simple, but it isn’t. I want to convey beauty with the underlying message that life is also hard. I have been drawn to colour, and the way they bounce off one another; I like the mix of textures – rough and smooth; I am trying to evoke movement in to my work; I am interested in antipodes – and showing the passage of time and the climate around the world, I love making films.
