There Will Always be Something, 2007

A melting snowball, it is ephemeral, eventually disappearing. Yet in mine there was something in the middle of it, something left that will never melt. There will always be something left.

Here I am looking at the world, with all the gloom focussed on it’s burning out, of the ice caps melting and the lack of oil, and I am saying, there will be something left, life will change, human kind will change, but the earth is adaptable, don’t give up hope…

This took me 3 hours to produce. I stood outside my house in Stewkley with a timer and every 5 minutes I took a photo, some of which are shown above. I think my neighbours thought I was mad.
